THE TEAM————————————————————
Bringing a life-time of construction experience and expertise to each project, John Eriksen has been successfully building in every aspect of the construction industry since 1974. From hand-framing custom homes in the mountains of Northern California, to creating waterfront estates in South Florida, John continues to add his personal touch to each project bringing customer satisfaction to the highest level. Past recent projects include The Cottages at Hobe Sound, an 81 unit gated residential community; Old Cypress Village in Hobe Sound, a Key West style residential community; and The Cottages and Marigold at the Medalist Golf Club, luxury custom residences, also in Hobe Sound.
Rounding out the building team is Mike Brooks, also bringing a life-time of construction experience to each project. Mike has perfected his skills at field supervision and project management beginning with an extended tenure with Alcoa Industries in the building and completion of the Jonathan’s Landing project in Jupiter, Fl. In 1999, Mike joined forces with John Eriksen to build and complete the Hobe Sound developments and in 2006, they both relocated to live and build in the Okeechobee area. |

PUTTING YOUR METAL ROOF TO WORK FOR YOU! |
|
PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ELECTRIC panels on your POLE BARN, AG BARN, HANGAR, WAREHOUSE, etc. now make tremendous economic sense for the first time EVER! With the passing of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (H.R.1424) in Oct. 2008, not only was the Federal Investment Tax Credit for Photovoltaic Solar extended for eight more years, but the cap was removed for both residential and commercial applications! Every Photovoltaic Solar consumer can now enjoy an Investment Tax Credit of 30% of the total installed system price! |

Add to that the State of Florida Solar Rebate Program, created in 2006 by the Florida Renewable Energy Technologies and Energy Efficiency Act, and you have a winning combination! Any resident of Florida who purchases and installs a new solar energy system from July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2010, is eligible for a rebate on a portion of the purchase price of that solar energy system. That rebate amounts to $4 per watt up to $20,000 for residential and up to $100,000 for commercial systems. |
|
Shown above is a 5000 watt thin film photovoltaic solar system laminated onto a metal roofed pole barn. That system will generate approximately $70/mo. or $840 of electricity per year! The numbers speak for themselves. ____________________________________________________________________________________ 5000 watt Photovoltaic System $32,250 (installed on customer’s metal roof)
Less Florida Solar Rebate of $4/watt $20,000 Less Federal Tax Credit of 30% $ 9,675 Total Outlay $ 2,575 ____________________________________________________________________________________
At this production of $840/year, outlay is returned in 3 Years! And remember, a tax credit of $1,000 for someone in the 28% tax bracket is equivalent to a tax deduction of $3,571!
Commercial customers can install up to 5 times the size of this system ((25,000 watts) with the same rate of return.
With the current “net metering” laws in effect, as energy costs rise, so does our solar electric sell-back rate to our utility company, thus creating our own hedge against energy inflation! |
